First to go was Ken Huynh. Huynh was down to ~45k and double up twice before his short-stack was finally taken out. Faroni opened the pot from middle position and Nerenberg defended his button. Huynh moved all-in for ~400k and Faroni isolated him pushing Nerenberg out of the hand. Faroni held AJs against Huynh’s 5x5x and won the flip.
Ken Huynh is eliminated in 17th place for $4,805.
The next was Sardor Gaziev. Action folded to Gaziev in the small blind who shoved into another short stack, Friman Villalona. Villalona made the call with K2o and would be up against Gaziev’s 95o. Villalona flopped a King and doubled up leaving Gaziev crippled. Gaziev busted the next hand.
Sardor Gaziev is eliminated in 16th place for $4,805.
The next bust-out saw the dominance of Shankar Pillai continue with a monster flop in a 3-way pot. Jeff Wicker opened the pot from under the gun and was called by Schuyler Twaddle on the button and Shankar Pillai in the big blind.
Flop: 9♥10♥J♥ Pot:~450k
Pillai and Wicker checked to Twaddle who fired a bet of 180k. Pillai moved all-in covering both players and Wicker who had initially checked called for ~1.5M total. Twaddle folded.
Wicker K♦Q♦ vs Pillai 7♥2♥ Pot: ~3.45M
The turn and river are mostly irrelevant as Wicker would need running flush cards for a chop. The turn bricked and Wicker would be drawing dead.
Jeff Wicker is eliminated in 15th for $5,971.
