From the hijack, Bryan Neira opens to 600k, Victor Ramdin moves all in on the button for his remaining 3.375M, Michael Marks goes all in over top from the BB, and Neira folds.
Board Runs out 8768Q to river a pair for Ramdin and double him up, leaving Marks with just 1.3M.
A few hands later Jeffrey Colpritts moves all in and called by Marks’ who held AQo to Colpritts pocket 66. Marks hit both his Ace and his Q for top 2 pair to Colpritts pair of 6’s to double him back up. The 2 remain extremely short stacked.
From the Hijack Jeffrey Colpitts opens to 600k and gets called by Moshe Zarum in the BB.
Flop: 6♣9♣10♠ Zarum moves all in for 4.925M and Copritts quickly calls
Board runs out: A♦Q♠ giving Zarum a straight to win the hand and leaving Colpritts with less than 6 BB.
Closely following this hand Bryan Neira opened to 550k, and Colpritts went all in for 1.45M. Neira reluctantly makes the call after a couple minutes seeming fairly certain he was behind, and his read is spot on as his A8 is facing Colpritts’ AJ. Colpritts holds up for a much needed double up.
(As told after the hand) Just before the break Victor Ramdin and Harry McCloskey were in a 5M pot when Ramdin flopped trip 2’s and to a flush draw by McCloskey which hit, giving him quite a bump in chips. Updated chip counts below:
Mid position, Harry McCloskey opened to 525k, Michael Marks goes all in for 3.125M, Matt Gross tanks from the SB then folds, and McCloskey calls showing down his pocket 66 to Marks’ pocket 99. Marks’ flops an unnecessary 9 to give him a set, turn is a blank for McCloskey to leave him drawing dead and giving Marks the double up.
Back to back knockouts just occurred on separate tables. Ryan Averill had raised, and called the 3-bet shove of Greg Fish pre-flop for about 2M. Fish held Q9hh, and Averill pocket KK which held up to eliminate Fish in 12th Place. Followed by Matthew Turner who went all in on an Ace high flop with his A9, running into a set of 7’s held by Victor Ramdin to eliminate him in 11th place. Both players received $8,437. The players are now re-drawing for final table.
