Lillie has just picked up a huge pot and a random fan as well moving up to ~1.5M in the process. He started Level 20 in 7th place and is now the leader or close to it with 40 minutes remaining before dinner.
Lillie got it all-in pre-flop holding AxKx against KxKx with almost all of his 800k stack in the middle. The board ran out JxTx2xTxQx giving him a straight on the end and eliminating his opponent.
It appears that this is Lillie’s first trip out to the East Coast for a shot at some Big Stax tournament action. Lillie plays most of his events in the Midwest and has racked up just over $129k in live earnings. He is making the most of his first experience here and could easily find himself playing for a major score tomorrow if he continues running well on Day 2.
