Furey holds the chip-lead with an astounding 230k through six levels of play. Furey is an experienced tournament player with $435k in live earnings under his belt. His best finish at the Big Stax series is 16th in the 1500 back at Big Stax V for just over $7,100.
Himpele is right on Furey’s heels with ~190k heading into Level 7. He immediately got to work taking ~30k off of Aditya Sharma after making the nut-flush on the end, moving over the 200k mark in the process.
Himpele has $69k in live earnings and has been knocking at the door of a Big Stax Final Table in his last couple of attempts. Himpele finished 19th in the last 500 Main Event as well as 16th in the 1500 at Big Stax XXII. He now once again finds himself cruising early in an event and he will look to make his first Final Table here at Parx this weekend.
