So far, no one is pulling away from the field early in Day 1A and there are two stacks at 140k, 3.5x the starting stack, which hold the early chip-lead.
One of those stacks belong to Chris Csik who just completed a deep run in the 300 Main Event. He finished short of his 4th Big Stax Final Table in 17th for just over $4,000 and is once again off to a great start early in this week’s event. Csik has previously Final Tabled the 500 Main Event twice, finishing 8th as well as a part of a 3-way chop for $50,544., his 4th largest career score.
Lugosky is tied for the lead with Csik heading into Level 7. He is only an occasional tournament player with just two cashes on his resume. One of those was a deep run in the May 2016 1100 Main Event which ended in 29th for $3,612. Lugosky was given a taste of action deep in Day 2 play and will now look to replicate his previous success this weekend.
