Ruffman had an excellent last level on Friday and emerged as the chip-leader before Day 1D got underway. She was overtaken by just two players and comes into Day 2 in 3rd place with 599k. Ruffman is currently seated at a tough table with Joe McKeehen and Thai Ha across the felt.
Ruffman has ~$64k in live earnings and six cashes on the year with a 5-digit score in May. She took home $10k as part of a 17-way chop in the Borgata Summer Kick Off Series on a $300 buy-in. The majority of her results come from Borgata but Ruffman now has an opportunity to add her first cash in the 300 Main Event here at Parx and potentially another big score should she keep up the momentum she built on Day 1.
