Finkelstein lands in clear 2nd place heading into the post-dinner session with ~220k betting units. Finkelstein has ~$40k and live earnings and returns to Parx after having an excellent showing at the last Big Stax series. She cashed all three main events with her deepest run being in the 1500. Her run fell short of a Day 3 appearance when she exited in 40th place for $3,707. The early game mojo is still working for Finkelstein this time around as she is once again in contention to advance to Day 2 play.
Brown rounds out the Top 3 with ~180k and is sitting in a very tough seat with Kevin Grabel and Justin Liberto on his immediate left. Brown is working on his 2nd year of tournament scores and has racked up ~$14k in live earnings. His best score came from a 6th place finish in a $350 event at MGM National Harbor where he finished 6th for $3,090. He now looks for his 2nd cash in a Big Stax Main Event after just squeaking into the money in the last running of the 300.
