Pearl was just outside the Top 3 heading into Level 10 but has won a couple small pots to reach ~200k. Pearl has ~$30k in career earnings but only one cash on the scorecard this year. That cash came back in May during the Big Stax series where he finished 79th in the 300 Main Event. He has an excellent track record in this tournament but is still searching for his first Final Table in a Main Event. He came very close in Decemeber 2015 at Big Stax XIV when he exited in 17th for $3,756 and he also made it all the way to 2nd in the $300 Black Chip Bounty side event at Big Stax XV. That finish gave him his career best score for $4,128 and a target to shoot for this weekend.
