Chettipally holds the chip-lead through six with ~175k. He has racked up ~$29k in tournament winnings playing primarily here at Parx. His best score came in a Big Stax Side Event last year when he took 2nd in the Purple Chip Bounty for $8,963. He has yet to make it deep into Day 2 of a Main Event but he is off to a good start at getting another shot tomorrow afternoon.
Costanzo is in a very close 2nd with ~170k. Costanzo has ~$87k in career earnings with a very solid track record at the Big Stax series. He final tabled the Big Stax XV taking 8th for $26,757 in February 2016 and more recently has back to back cashes in the $5k Survivor Event in the previous two series. He now sets his sights on another run at a Big Stax Final Table should he find the bag here on Day 1C.
Kevin Johnson is in 3rd place through six with ~$160k. Johnson took 1st place as part of a 5-way chop in the Big Stax XIX 500 Main Event for $58,245. He has since been very busy in 2017 with 10 cashes for another ~$41k in winnings bringing his lifetime total to ~$308k. He will now settle in for a long Day 1C session as he looks to make another run at a Big Stax Final Table.
