Chris DeQuatro and Mark Gibson’s luck seems to have shifted both doubling up through their tables respective chip leaders. DeQuatro was all in against Carter McMahon with his pocket 10’s and McMahon held a flush draw which missed to award DeQuatro the double up. A few hands later came Gibsons double up with AQo he flopped a flush draw vs Giuseppe Lomuscio who had hit a pair of J’s. Gibson ended up turning the Q high flush to win the hand and double his approx. 900k.

Giuseppe Lomuscio has continued to run up his stack. Most recently Greg Himmelbrand had the misfortune of mo9ving all in with his pocket 8’s pre flop and running into Lomuscio who had pocket Aces. Lomuscio held up to knockout our last surviving prior Big Stax champion.

Poker Power’s Lisa Pickell was a bit card dead today and got short stacked. She was just eliminated in a coin flip hand with her pocket 8’s up against Carter McMahon who held A9. McMahon hit a 9 to knock out our last woman standing in 17th place for $5,464.

Jeff Gross just survived a much needed all in after going all in pre for less than 10BB with his A5 vs AQ held by Chris DeQuatro. Gross flopped 234 to immediately give him a straight which held up to win the hand and double up.

Chris Dequatro just got a doubled up in what started as a coinflip hand with his pocket 3’s vs Michael Renna who held K10. Going to the river, Renna had about 18 outs to hit an over card, flush, or a gut shot straight but managed to miss everything to have his stack crippled and give Dequatro a much needed double up.
