Hong: A♣K♣

Calabrese: K♥9♥

With just one heart coming out on the flop Calabrese was drawing very thin, but got running hearts to give him a flush to win the hand and double up. Hong was left with just a few big blinds and was unable to recover and was knocked out a couple hands later in 35th place for $3,581.

Kevin Grabel had run up his stack from about 15BB to 100BB before break. Grabel is known to be aggressive and put the pressure on players. Grabel had recently picked the wrong time to play back at his opponent, Manny Kanu, on a Q high board; Kanu rivered 2 pair with his Q9 which made calling the re-raise for all his chips a much easier decision. Kanu now has close to 700K and Grabel is back to rebuilding with less than 20BB.
