During hand for hand play a few players were down to just one big blind when the field finally reached the money.
A few hands in UTG had raised to 22k, mid position Jose Pereira raised to 68k, action folded around to Gilberto Solano in the SB who 4 bet to 200k, action folded back to Pereira who moved all in and Perez called for total 386k.
Pereira: KK
Solano: AA
Solano ends up hitting the nut flush to win the hand and leave Pereira with just 45k. Pereira was later forced all in on his BB against Solano again. This time Solano’s AK was beat when Pereira’s 710 flopped the nut straight to win the hand and stay alive.
Frank Loffreno found some fortune with his AK and just 26k when he moved all in pre and got 2 callers.
Board: 10♣J♠4♣ 2♠ Q♣ Side action checked until the river and the SB led out and the BB folded.
SB: 89 for the straight to the Q while Loffreno stayed alive with a straight to the A.
