Lots Of Action on Table 21

Ryan Currier, Day 2 Level 23

Currier eliminated Will Corvino as a precursor to the largest pot of the tournament being played. Currier opened to 70k and was 3-bet all-in by Corvino for ~360k total. Currier made the call and would hold J♣J♥ vs K♠J♦. The board bricked out and Corvino hit the rail.

The very next hand, Neal Gay won the largest pot of the event to take a significant chip-lead. Gay opened from the cutoff and was 3-bet by Greg Weber on the button to ~160k. Gay then put in a 4-bet to 395k and was shoved on by Weber for ~1.9M total. Gay had him slightly covered and instantly called.

Gay A♦A♥ vs Weber 8♦7♦ Pot: ~3.9M

Board: Q♦J♠7♠4♠5♣

Weber picked up a small sweat but could not find a second pair or trips and was eliminated. Neal Gay has now gone from 12k at the 10k big blind to chip-leader at the 24k big blind with over 4M.
