There are four players bunched at the top of the standings and Lacey holds the slight lead with ~180k. Lacey has ~$69k in career earnings with his best score coming at Borgata in the Kickoff Event in November 2015. Lacey took 5th for $45,590 in the popular East Coast event and will set his sights on his first cash at the Big Stax series this weekend.

John Guthrie, Day 1C Level 7

John Guthrie has ~170k and is tied with two other players for 2nd early in the session. Guthrie is a former poker dealer from Ohio who is just getting his feet wet in the tournament arena starting this year. Guthrie has just one previous cash but is well on his way to a second should he keep up his early momentum on Day 1C.

Truman, also with ~170k, is primarily a player at Maryland Live with ~$85k in tournament earnings. He hits the daily events regularly and has 15 cashes so far in 2017 with two 5-digit scores. He steps out of his home turf to give the Big Stax series a try and is already doing well early in the event as he searches for his first major tournament score.

Nick Walker rounds out the top of the standings, also with ~170k. Walker has ~$90k in live winnings and plays most of his events in Niagara Falls NY. His career best is a win in a $1k Main Event for ~$37,000 in 2014 and more recently has a win in a $300 event for $17,404. Walker finds his way a few hours south and will now look for his first score here at Parx in the popular Big Stax series.
