Kyle Kaltenmaier has the chip-lead with 185k and will look to make it back to back cashes after going deep in the 300 last week. He made it to 66th before bowing out of the event earning $1,223, almost four buy-ins.
Wayachal comes into Level 7 in 2nd place with ~170k. He had hit the 200k mark at one point but fell back a bit before the color-up break. Wayachal has ~$56k in live earnings, most of which came from this very event. At Big Stax XVI, he took $34,837 in a 7-way chop to end the event. He also finished 12th at Big Stax XXI earlier this year for $5,650. Wayachal will look to continue his success in this Big Stax event and go for another major score this weekend.
Joe Cashen is in 3rd with ~155k and will look to continue his success here at Parx after having a good series in August. Cashen finished 17th in the 300 and 50th in the 500 for a combing $7,300 earnings. He is still looking to breakthrough to his first Big Stax Final Table and has done well to get his stack heading in the right direction early on Day 1B.
