The CMTA Charity Event in Memory of Carlos Juarez will take place this evening at 7 PM. The buy-in is $175 of which $25 will be donated to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association. Players will receive 20,000 in tournament chips with 20-minute levels. Registration will remain open until the beginning of Level 12, just over three hours into the tournament.
This will be the second running of this event with last year’s field drawing just over 100 entries. The tournament was won by Harris Ahmad for $4,081 and was a very light-heart’ed event. Many players showed up to participate in memory of Carlos and to contribute to a very worth cause.
