More Stacks Part 2

  • Big Stax XXIII 300 Main Event 5:00 PM
  • Level 9 (500/1000/100)
  • Day 1D Entries: 642
  • Total Entries: 1659

The field is still very large and an accurate look at the leader-board will be available after the dinner break which is coming up after Level 9. Here’s a few more players which are trending up early in Day 1D.

michael bell
Michael Bell, Day 1D Level 9

Bell is the 2nd stack around the room to hit 200k and he is among the top stacks at the start of Level 9. Bell is only an occasional tournament player and has one previous result in the Big Stax series. He finished 114th in the 500 Main Event at Big Stax XVI for $1,307 and a taste of Day 2 action.

wayne kaufmann
Wayne Kaufmann, Day 1D Level 9

Kaufmann is up to ~185k and is doing his best to live by the motto on his hat. Kaufmann has ~$111k in career earnings and his last Big Stax cash was in the 300 back in December 2014. He has picked it up this year though with a few nice scores including a 2nd in the WSOP Circuit Seniors Event at Foxwoods for $9,302 and 17th at the $600 Main Event at Foxwoods in October for $4,458.

jeff manucchio
Jeff Manocchio, Day 1D Level 9

Manocchio is up to ~165k and is sitting in an excellent seat with an ~150k stack on his immediate right. Manocchio has just two career cashes but they both came from this year as he is getting into tournament play. They were both in the Borgata Open Kickoff Event and his deepest run was a 47th for $2,971. That gives him some experience in Day 2 play and he will look for his 3rd cash and potentially his first major score this weekend.
