Lopez found himself in an excellent seat with two big stacks on his immediate right. He capitalized on the opportunity and got a double through Andrea Finkelstein and established himself well heading into the final hour of play with ~300k.
Lopez was a big presence at the last Big Stax series but fell just short of a final table in both of his deep runs. He finished 11th in the 1500 for $9,235 and 16th in the 300 for $5,116. Those scores improved his career earnings to ~$54k and he is back just a month and a half later looking to improve on those impressive runs.
