Today’s field is running just slightly behind Day 1A and will bag a similar amount to yesterday’s 41 and there are six remaining tables heading into the final stint of play.
Ciancio will begin this stretch as the chip-leader with ~400k. There is still plenty of time left to improve on that stack or be caught by the field as the final level provides most of the action of the Day 1 sessions.
Ciancio is just an occasional tournament player with seven cashes on his resume totaling ~$10k in career earnings. He has two cashes here at Parx, both in the 300 Main Event with his deepest run being 42nd for $2,057 at Big Stax XIV. If he can find a bag with this stack size he will be a big favorite to notch his 3rd cash in this event and possibly another deep run.
