Jay Ski, Day 1B Level 13

Ski is the chip-leader heading into the final three levels with ~330k, the first player to hit the 300k threshold. He improved to that number after busting Justin Liberto’s short stack with A8o vs TxTx. Michael Marder is in 2nd place with 268k while two more new faces make up the top of the standings.

Matthew Popp, Day 1B Level 13

Popp is looking for his first cash since May 2015 when he finished 5th in a $200 buy-in at Hollywood Poker Open in Grantville. That score was for $1,174 and is just one of his two career cashes in tournament play. He brings ~245k into the final three levels and is in excellent shape to find a bag later this evening.

Keith Nelson, Day 1B Level 13

Nelson rounds out the top of the standings with ~240k and there are just a couple other players who are over the 200k mark at this stage. Nelson has just one tournament cash on his resume but it was a Final Table in the Big Stax series. He finished 10th in the stand-alone Big Stax 200 in July 2016 taking home $8,366 for his deep run.
