Business And Pleasure

Level 13 sent two players over the 300k mark and they are both new faces at the top.

Tony Tonzelli, Day 1A Level 14

Tonzelli is enjoying himself at the felt here on Day 1A and is chatting up a friendly table. He has the talking chips to work with as well as he holds the chip-lead with ~330k. Tonzelli is a local player from Bensalem who has built up ~$45k in career earnings in the Philadelphia area. He has two Top 27 finishes in the 500 Main Event and a 41st place finish in the 1100 Main Event for a taste at some deep action in this excellent structure. He is now well on his way to another Day 2 appearance with just two more levels to play on Day 1A.

Jay Raymundo, Day 1A Level 14

Raymundo is all business late in Day 1A and is currently the only other player to hit the 300k mark. He has just eclipsed that number and is sitting at a table with another big stack, Tyrone Hicks.

Raymundo has built up ~$32k in career earnings after getting his first five-digit score this summer. He took home exactly $10k as part of an 11-way chop of a Deepstack event at the Borgata Summer Open. On top of that, he has five cashes in Big Stax Main Events since 2015 with his deepest run being 78th in the 300. If he gets his stack into the bag in just over an hour from now, he can look to escape the middle game of Day 2 and post a new best here at Parx.
