Josias Dos Santos comes into the second portion of Day 1B with ~218k. The consistent tournament grinder has had a slow series so far but did have a Day 3 appearance in the 500 Main Event. However, he had an excellent score over the summer bringing his career earnings up to ~$450k. Dos Santos took 3rd in the $1500 Main Event at Pompano Beach for $64,096 which is just a few thousand short of his career best from his chop in the Big Stax XX 300 Main Event.
Andrew Kiss was just barely in the Top 5 after the break with ~220k. Kiss is one of the few recreational players in the field who are performing well early in the event. He has just one tournament cash from 2015 for ~$7k and will certainly have a lot more at stake should he make it deeper in this event. The first goal will be making it to the bag and Kiss is doing better than the majority of the field with the critical levels on the horizon.
