Early Leaders

There are two players essentially tied for the lead with just shy of 200k.

Rich Meza, Day 1B Level 7

Rich Meza has the slight advantage with ~195k through six levels of play. Meza has $160k and it has been just a couple of months since his career best score. Meza took the largest portion of a 5-way chop in the $600 Ultimate Goliath Stack in Las Vegas over the summer. That chop earned him $93,890 and he followed it up with a min cash in the WSOP Main Event. Meza now sets his sights back on the East Coast as he searches for another major score this summer.

TJ Bean, Day 1B Level 7

TJ Bean is just behind the leader with ~190k through six levels. Bean is a local player with just a few tournament cashes on his resume totaling ~$10k in earnings. The Big Stax 1500 offers anyone a chance to test their skills in one of the toughest fields on the East Coast and Bean is excelling so far.

Two other players have created a bit of separation. Michael Mrakes (170k) and Will Failla (161k).
