Big pots are few and far between as this table is in a deadlock at nine players. Chris Kusha has now open shoved three times and gotten each one through to stay afloat. He and Chris McNally are the two shortest stacks and McNally got a 3-bet steal in to pick up a small pot as well. McNally also lost a small chunk of chips after defending his big blind to an under the gun raise from Allyn Marshall. The board ran out Tx9x7x7x6x and after the flop and turn were both checked, McNally attempted a bluff on the river with KJs but was called by AKo.
David Zemel and Kyle Merron just played a strange hand where Zemel was quite fortunate to not lose a significant pot. Zemel opened the cutoff to 300k and was called on the button by Merron.
Flop: Q♠9♣5♠ Pot: 960k
Zemel checked. Merron bet 325k and was called.
Turn: 10♠ Pot: 1.61M
Check/check.
River: 2♠
Check/check.
Zemel showed the 6♠4♠ for a turned flush and Merron showed the 9♠8♠ for a turned flush as well. Zemel comes out of the situation unscathed and fortunate to not face a turn-bet. The four flush on the river stopped all the action as they were both content with a showdown.
