geno raman
Geno Raman, Day 2 Level 23

Geno Raman cracked the Top 10 during the last break with 2.15M. Raman is sitting two seats to the left of Greg Weber who slid during the last level, possibly losing some of his stack to Raman in the process.

Raman is looking for his 2nd Big Stax Final Table after coming very close in the February 500 Main Event. He finished 11th for $6,463 in that event which comes in as his 3rd largest score. His best score remains his 4th place finish in the Big Stax XVI 300 for $23,735. Raman could easily set a new personal best with a Final Table appearance this tomorrow and has positioned himself very well for the last two levels of Day 2.

jonas wexler
Jonas Wexler, Day 2 Level 23

Jonas Wexler won a huge pot just after play resumed vaulting him up to ~2.4M and in the Top 10.

Geno Raman opened to 60k under the gun, and was 3-bet to 160k by Ben Christensen on his immediate left. Action folded to Wexler on the button who put in a 4-bet to 385k. Raman got out of the way before Christensen moved all-in barely covering Wexler’s ~1.1M stack. Wexler made the call.

Wexler QxQx vs Christensen AxAx Pot: ~2.4M

The flop came Queen high and Wexler cracked Christensen’s Aces to survive. Christensen was left with ~100k and was busted shortly after.
