Ray Medlin Sr. was featured on the blog during the Big Stax 300 and his son’s results were attributed to his name by mistake. This week, Ray Medlin Jr. pointed out the mistake on the blog and then proceeded to land himself in the Top 10 heading into Day 2.
Medlin landed in the Top 10 after felting Kevin Grabel during the last couple of hands on Day 1B. He comes back today with 557.5k and is the chip-leader at his table full of middling stacks. Medlin has ~$23k in career earnings and six of his seven cashes have come since May 2017. He sets his sights on his first major score at the Big Stax 500 and has a better start than most of the field.
