DJ MacKinnon came into Day 2 with 157k and wasted no time getting things going. He now has ~470k, nearly 100 big blinds, and can settle in with plenty of room to maneuver.
MacKinnon got his year started off on the right foot by taking part of a chop in the WPTDeepstacks Main Event at Big Stax XX. That finish earned him $127,800 and he has since stayed in good form by putting up seven cashes over the summer in Vegas. The best of those finishes was a Final Table in the $1500 Tag Team event where he and E-Tay finished in 6th place for $12,215. Overall, MacKinnon has ~$905k in career earnings and is one of the toughest spots in the field, especially now that he’s working with a big stack.
