Two Stacks Over 200k

It took just eight levels into Day 1C to beat last August’s total of 1193. The field now sets its sights on breaking the overall record of 1480 and with the additional Day 2 entries will come very close to that number.

Vladimir Peck, Day 1C Level 8

Vladimir Peck held the chip-lead midway through Level 8 with ~220k. Peck has ~$197k in career earnings and is an experienced tournament player. His best Big Stax finish came from a 32nd place run in the 1100 Main Event in May 2016. That score earned him $3,612 and a taste of play deep in Day 2 that he will hope to experience once again this weekend.

Frank Lettieri, Day 1C Level 8

Lettieri was the only other player to pass 200k midway through Level 8. He is an occasional tournament player that hasn’t posted a score since 2014. His last cash came from a 3rd place finish here in a Big Stax Side Event. Lettieri took home $6,094 for his finish in the Purple Chip Bounty event and will not set his sights on his first Main Event cash.
