Ed O’Connell will take the chip-lead into the final three levels with ~400k betting units. O’Connell is a fairly accomplished tournament player with ~$258k in lifetime winnings. His deepest run here at Parx came in the 300 Main Event at Big Stax XXI where he finished 33rd for $2,238 and a taste of the excellent structure. That is his only cash at this venue and if he managed to find the bag tonight, O’Connell will be well on his way to another solid showing in a Big Stax Main Event.
Nicholas Skyllas is right on O’Connell’s heels with ~385k, over 150 big blinds in this extremely deep structure. Skyllas has a very short tournament resume but does have a cash here at the Big Stax series in the 300 Main Event. That run, in September 2015, ended in 81st place for $910 and a good showing this weekend and he could easily surpass that finish.
