Heading into the post-dinner stretch of play, Chris Laieta holds the chip-lead with 253k.
David Butkus is in 2nd place with ~198k and has a pretty tough table with E-Tay and Vinny Pahuja. Butkus is primarily a cash game player and can be seen grinding the highest big bet games that Parx offers. He does have some tournament success as well with $169k in career winnings and three of his seven cashes coming at the Big Stax series.
Brandon Hodges lands in 3rd with ~170k and is just ahead of a few other players between 150k-165k. Hodges has no recorded results and is one of the many recreational tournament players that come to the series to take a shot at Big Stax glory. He will now look to prosper over the final six levels and punch his ticket to Day 2 on Sunday.
