Hong comes into this week’s 500 Main Event searching for his 3rd Big Stax Final Table. At Big Stax XX, he took 6th in the 300 for $15,778 and backed that up with a 2nd place in the $500 Purple Chip Bounty event at Big Stax XXI for $10,203. On just five cashes, Hong has worked up ~$30k in career earnings and some big spots for a relatively new tournament player. Hong is off to another good start in this week’s 500 Main Event and has ~440k with under a level to play before the bags come out.
It looks like Evan Dahl is getting his first taste of Parx and the Big Stax series. He has ~$104k in career earnings but they have all come from cashes between Vegas, Reno, and San Jose. He is certainly feeling good vibes from this venue though, and has worked up a stack of ~350k late in Day 1A.
