Anthony Garofalo is sitting to the immediate left of Mike Linster. Linster had held the chip-lead going into Level 7 but got mixed up in an ~150k pot with Garofalo that did not go his way. Garofalo had flopped a flush with AJs and after the board ran out two bricks, over 60k went in the middle on the river giving him a full double up.
Garofalo has ~$84k in lifetime earnings with a slew of cashes here at the Big Stax series. He is still searching for that first Final Table though, with his deepest run being a 16th in 500 Main Event for $4,043. He hopes to work his ~150k stack into a bag at the end of Day 1B and give himself another shot at Big Stax glory.
