There are just two players that have the chance to go back to back in the 500 Main Event and match Joe Palma’s incredible feat from the 300 Main Event earlier this week. Laieta is one of those players after taking home $74,203 as part of a heads-up chop with Jason Ritchie at Big Stax XXI. Laieta added three additional cashes over the summer including a 35th in a $1k event at the Wynn Summer Class for $10,156 bringing his career earnings to ~$174k. He is working with a stack of ~130k early in Day 1B as he sets his sights on defending his title from May.
