Lead Pack

  • Big Stax XXII 500 Main Event 10:40 PM
  • Level 13 (1200/2400/300)
  • Day 1A Entries: 342

There were two new faces at the top of the standings after the final break of Day 1A.

thanh minh le
Thanh Minh Le, Day 1A Level 13

Le came into the home stretch tied for the lead with Greb Weber at 320k but has already won a couple small pots since then and has ~340k now. Le got his tournament career started with his 1st cash in last August’s Big Stax 500, finishing 105th for $1,374. Since then, he has just two more cashes but is well on his way to a deep run this weekend should he get his above average stack into a bag at the end of Level 15.

ben christensen
Ben Christensen, Day 1A Level 13

Christensen is currently un-racking his chips after getting moved from a very tough seat with two big stacks on his left in Greg Weber and Allyn Marshall. He took his ~290k stack to his new seat and will continue to work on growing his arsenal.

Christensen is a local tournament player with ~$12k in career earnings over six cashes. He has cashed three Big Stax Main Events with his deepest runs being 32nd twice, once in the 500 ($3,765) and once in the 300 ($2,102). He hopes to use that experience, and his stack, to produce another deep run this weekend.
