The initial line of 300 entries for Day 1A is quickly approaching. Last year’s opening flight brought in 325 and the field is currently slightly ahead of that pace. There are still over seven levels remaining of registration.
Just a few minutes into Level 8 and Distenfeld has become the first player in the field to hit 200k. At this stage, that stack is 250 big blinds deep and 5x the starting stack of 40k. Distenfeld is likely one of the many recreational players taking their shot at Big Stax glory as he has no recorded results.
