The clock will be stopped momentarily and the field will play a random number of hands to finish the session. Here’s the last look at the some big stacks for the evening:
Jose Montes has made his bid to come into Day 2 as the chip-leader and with a few hands left to play has ~600k. Montes has ~$1.16M in career earnings and is one of the most dangerous players in the field, especially with this stack. His last big score was in April when he took down the WPT Deepstacks $1500 in Maryland for $95,032. He followed that up with five cashes over the summer at the WSOP but no significant scores in that stretch.
Ferrell has ~460k and will land on the leader-board at the end of play if he survives just a few remaining hands. He has ~$89k in career earnings and has made a Final Table in the Big Stax 300 before. His 3rd place finish in July 2014 earned him $33,516, the largest score of his career, and he is off to a great start at making another appearance deep in this series.
