Big Stacks Side By Side

The last level of Day 1D is just now getting underway and these two players will spend the 45-minute stint in close proximity.

John Bordner, Day 1D Level 14

Bordner is moving into the empty seat that was recently occupied by Matt Mendez with ~500k in chips and the current lead. He has ~$11k in live earnings and one cash in the Big Stax 300 coming back in September 2015 for $910. He will have a slight chip advantage on the player to his immediate left who felted Mendez moments before his arrival.

Lou Capoferri, Day 1D Level 14

Capoferri occupies the aforementioned seat with ~350k. He has position on the bigger stack but could simply be content with playing carefully and finding a bag. Many players take this approach late in the final flight but only time will tell if these two players mix it up. Capoferri has ~$36k in live earnings but has not cashed a Big Stax Main Event despite participating in many of the daily events here at Parx. That could easily change if he comes into Day 2 with this stack and will need to last only a couple levels to secure that first score.
