Yesterday’s slightly larger field produced bigger stacks at this stage by putting three players over the 150k mark through six levels. Today is a slightly different story with just three stacks over 100k and the chip-leader having ~115k at this point. Here’s a look at the Top 3:

Ron Pento takes the lead early in Day 1B with ~115k. Pento has ~$28k in tournament earnings as an occasional player on the East Coast. He arrives at Parx looking for his first cash in a Big Stax event and is off to a great start with nearly four times the starting stack early in the session.

Michael Dinardi is the second player featured this week that has had the bittersweet experience of finishing on the Final Table bubble in a Big Stax 300. At Big Stax XI, he took 11th for $4,371 in this event, the largest score out of his ~$25k in career winnings. Dinardi currently sits with ~106k and hopes to parlay his early lead into a Day 2 appearance.
The only other player in the field who eclipsed the 100k mark through six levels was Angel Lopez (~103k).
