- Big Stax XXII 300 Main Event 4:50 PM
- Level 7 (300/600/100)
- Day 1A Entries: 409
The field is well ahead of last year’s pace (350) and is off to a great start to break last year’s record breaking field of 2557. The early line for this week’s total is~ ~2700 entries and today should eclipse the 500 mark before the bags come out around 12 AM. Here’s a look at a couple of players who are setting the pace on Day 1A.

Cashen has improved his stack during Level 7 and is now just over 170k, enough for ~250 big blinds heading into the next level. He has 90k in career earnings and is in search of his first 5-digit score since taking down a $400 Deepstack event at Borgata in January 2016 for $44,387. Cashen is a volatile Day 1 player and will certainly be looking to build an even larger stack over the remaining levels.

Black is presumably making his first appearance on the East Coast after racking up ~$45k in career earnings in tournaments around L.A. He is still sitting with ~150k after failing to add to his stack over the last 45-minute stint of play.
