Albert Truong has ~240k coming into Level 10 and is a new face inside the Top 5. Truong had a bit of a resurgence in his tournament career last year after not recording a cash for some time. It got started with a 73rd place in the Big Stax XV 300 and then quickly went north from there. He took 1st as part of a 5-way chop at a $400 event in Gardena for $91k. Just last month he added another 5-digit score to his resume, taking $20,782 home for a 2nd place finish at the Borgata Spring Open. In total, he has racked up $132k in earnings in a year of play, a great result for anyone.
Bryan Neira is the last of four players over the 200k mark and is at ~210k coming into Level 10. He is looking to unleash a mean streak on the field after going through a bit of a drought since his win here last October. The drought is only for big scores however, Neira has racked up 12 cashes over the six month period since his win. Those cashes add an additional $30k to his resume bringing him over the $200k mark for career earnings.
The two big stacks featured share the same table as well with a couple hours to go before they break for the evening. There is potential that one of them grabs a massive stack if a pot breaks out between them.
