Edward Han came into Level 10 in 2nd place with 198k. Han has $46k in live earnings without a 5-digit score to his name. He may be one of the few PLO8 grinders out there as three of his cashes have come in that format including a good run at last year’s WSOP. He finished 19th in a $1500 PLO8 for $5,588 and 42nd in the $1500 PLO8/Big O for $3,908. Han turns to NL and a different venue as he searches for his first major live cash.
Sean Kurland came into Level 10 with 187k, good for 3rd place. Kurland had a really nice run here at the Big Stax series in 2015 with some heart-breaking finishes just off the Final Table. Here’s a look:
Those are Kurland’s three largest scores out of his $29k in career winnings. He certainly hopes to improve on that great stretch of play from a couple of years ago.
