It didn’t take long for things to change on Frank Loffreno’s table after the dinner break. Loffreno came in as the chip-leader with 261k but is now sitting with ~160k.
Murphy Murrell was the beneficiary of those chips and now has ~225k after doubling through Loffreno. He quickly vaults to the top of the standings, a place Murrell isn’t too familiar with in live tournaments. He has just three cashes on his resume, all coming in $1k events and spread out over quite a few years. In total, he has $8.5k in live winnings and looks to make a break-out score in this weekend’s Big Stax 500 Main Event.
