Travis Greenawalt had gotten pretty short before finding a spot to shove ~885k on his button. McKeehen woke up with a pair and made the call.

McKeehen 7♦7♠ vs Greenawalt Q♥9♣

Board: A♥A♦8♦6♦J♣

Joe McKeehen came into Day 3 with the chip-lead and showed no signs of slowing down. The heads-up battle was pulled even a couple of times, but after getting in two river check-raises against Greenawalt, McKeehen held on to his commanding lead for good. He collects his first title here at Parx and adds another six-digit score to an already stellar tournament resume.

Travis Greenawalt, Big Stax 1100 Day 3

Travis Greenawalt falls just short of collecting his 2nd Big Stax 1100 Main Event title. He stayed quiet while McKeehen did a lot of the work at the Final Table but secured himself in the heads-up match by knocking out Robert Paventi in 3rd. Greenawalt notches his 2nd largest career score and is now just shy of $400k in earnings.

The Final Table lasted just 6.5 hours and becomes one of the fastest Day 3 sessions in Big Stax history. Thanks for everyone who came out to play the Big Stax 1100 Main Event. Here’s a look at the full results from Day 3 play:
