Schindler Now Leads

With the action slowing way down in this deep event, let’s take a look at one of the Top 5 stacks.

Yaacov Schindler, Day 2 Level 20

Yaacov Schindler was in 2nd place coming into Level 20 with 1.2M in betting units. He has held on to that stack for most of the hour and is on the next table to break. Schindler is certainly experiencing something new in this event as he only has two cashes on his resume. His deepest run was a 28th in the Kickoff event at the Borgata Summer Open last July. He received $4,238 for that finish and will need to go just a bit deeper to match his largest score.

In the process of posting this, Schindler just got it in with JxJx vs AxKx and won the flip increasing his stack to close to 2M. The inexperienced live tournament player now has a stranglehold on the chip-lead. His table features Mike Linster, Travis Greenawalt, Tony Tonzelli, Adam White, and Manuel Jaime. Schindler will have his work cut out for him until they are dispersed into the field after four more eliminations.
