Oscar Jurado was the in the Top 3 to start the home stretch with 256k. He is a fairly new tournament player having just recorded his first live cash in February 2016. Over the course of his first year, he put up five cashes for $13,172 total without making a final table. Three of those cashes came in Parx Big Stax events, twice in the 500 and once in the 300. His 27th place finish in the Big Stax XV 500 was worth $4,404 and remains his high score. Jurado looks to the Big Stax 1100 to record his first cash of 2017 and get over the hump of the middle game. If he keeps giving himself chances, a Final Table will surely be in the cards eventually.
