Jeffrey Hong is over 100k now and is chipping up nicely before heading into the later levels of Day 1 play. He has also been spending a lot of time in the tournament area lately. Hong just finished 2nd in the Purple Chip Bounty that finished a little over 16 hours ago. He earned slightly more than $10k after losing his heads-up battle with David Zemel.
Hong has been finding a fair bit of success here at Parx. He primarily plays cash games during his time in the room but managed a 6th place finish in the Big Stax XX 300 Main Event. That finished netted him $15,778 and a ton of great experience at a very tough Final Table. He now sets his sights on a third 5-digit score in his last three cashes and could do so with a deep run in the Big Stax 1100.
