Sundiata DeVore went deep in the Big Stax 300 last weekend, bowing out in 8th for $8,954. Inexplicably, the blog did not have a picture and didn’t catch much of the action that he was involved in. He is back however, and working on his stack in the 1100 Main Event today.
DeVore has $272k in live earnings and already booked ten cashes in 2017. That includes a win in a $400 6-max event at Foxwoods for $10,172 as well as a 5th in the opening event of that series, a $600 buy-in. His 5th place gives him his best cash so far this year, $23,080.
DeVore starts his journey to make back to back Final Tables here at Parx and is on a deep table with two early chip-leaders Adam Levitan, and Timothy Pirraglia. He will be a threat to build a formidable stack from that seat and find a bag at the end of Day 1A.
