ricchini v palma
Steve Ricchini(Left) v Joe Palma, Day 3 Level 29

At the six handed table, Ricchini opened the pot from the hijack to 250k and was called by Palma in the cutoff. The blinds folded making it a heads-up flop.

Flop: 6♠7♠6♦ Pot: 740k

Ricchini bet 300k and was called by Palma.

Turn: J♣ Pot: 1.34M

Ricchini fired again, this time 775k. He was called fairly quickly by Palma.

River: K♥ Pot: 2.89M

Ricchini stayed on the gas and shoved all-in for 1.8M. Palma now went into the tank. If he were to call, he would be left with ~800k and be the short-stack. After quite a bit of thought, Palma laid it down mentioning the river was a very good card for Ricchini. Ricchini didn’t show, but let Palma know he had a pair, just wasn’t sure if it was good.

After the hand, Palma has ~2.6M and Ricchini has ~4.7M.
