Carl Copeland, Day 2 Level 22

Carl Copeland took out Julie Phyuthinn, who was the last female left in the event. After the hand, he has ~1.4M and joins the top portion of the field. The hand ran out in an exciting way as well.

Copeland held AxAx against Phyuthinn’s KxKx in an all-in pre-flop scenario. The board ran out the suck-out/re-suckout scenario as a King hit the turn only to have the AxAx make Broadway on the river. At the end of the day, it was just a cooler for Phyuthinn.

Copeland finds himself in an excellent seat as well. Rob Gerrard and Bill Parker occupy the seats to his right and both have over 2M in chips. Copeland will look for the chips to flow to the left now and utilize his position on the two big stacks.
