John Borzio is enjoying a beer that was bought by one of his table-mates. A few hands later, Borzio eliminated that player in return. He is now up to ~450k and is in fine shape with just minutes to go in tonight’s session.
Borzio has a very nice score on his resume as well, despite being a recreational player. In 2011, he took 5th in a $1500 Bracelet Event at the WSOP for $184,651. That makes up a large chunk of his $249k in live earnings but it has been a long time since he has added a significant score to that total. Borzio will look to make another major Final Table this weekend, and re-live his WSOP experience in a Big Stax Main Event.
